ANCE is a member college of English Australia, the national peak body for the English language sector of international education in Australia. ANCE is affiliated with ANIBT and also Holmesglen, Chisolm Institute and Kaplan School of Business. All provide vocational training for business, hospitality and technical areas of study. ANCE can offer you guided pathways through your ELICOS study to vocational training and/or higher education at ANIBT and other institutions.

ANCE’s classrooms are equipped with audio-visual aids, computer and internet – including wireless – access in computer labs and two kitchenettes. ANCE is located in the Melbourne CBD surrounded by cafes, restaurants and the Yarra river. It’s easily accessible by trams, trains and buses.

At ANCE we understand our students’ different learning style and needs. We incorporate practical instructions, group, pair and solo work, audio-visual presentations, problem-solving activities and field trips. ANCE teachers have a wide range of experience both in Australian and abroad
Student support services
All new ANCE students are given an orientation program upon arrival at the college. ANCE’s Academic Manager will introduce you to the college’s policies, procedures and practices and your rights and obligations whilst studying at ANCE. The Student Services Co-ordinator can refer you to an external counsellor at little or no cost to you if you require more professional counselling/guidance in relation to personal matters.
External Student Services
At ANCE we understand international students may need assistance in finding work in order to support their study and holiday plans whilst in Melbourne. Our students, in association with Next Careers, are offered a 12 month job assistance and support service in Melbourne including helpful career advice, from fine-tuning your resume to navigating workplace conflicts to showing you how to achieve your life goals.
